This course covers everything to level-up your brewing with foundation content such as: coffee species, roasting impacts and a framework to understand brewing devices as we wrestle with coffee concentration and extraction.

From the 7 Essential Elements of a great brew we begin mastery of: brew ratios, grinds, time, temperatures, turbulence, water and filter methods. This culminates in a dozen brew exercises and demonstrations.

Finally, this is accomplished within the framework of the Specialty Coffee Association for Foundations certification with the Coffee Skills Program.
